Who is that girl?

I see her everyday,
yet i never say hello,
i remember the first time i saw her,
even though it was so long ago.

She just seems so lost,
she just tries to blend in,
i wonder who this girl is?,
but i think I've seen her twin.

the other girl always with friends,
always has a smile,
seems so flawless,
yet i haven't seen her in a while.

i finally figured it out,
it is the same girl,
but really she is two people,
she's become lost in this world.

She has the smile around her friends,
then hates herself when she is alone,
she carves her wrist every night,
her modeling chances blown.

Her father beats her,
every night,
you hear the screams coming from the house,
you can tell it is not right.

people never notice,
no body knows,
she stays in her room,
then leaves it all at home.

alot of girls hate her,
she is popular,
but little do those jealous girls know,
she is just an actor.

she may look perfect,
always with a smile,
but if you always believe what you see,
then your just in denial.
