In need of a friend

The begging of a new year
and still i feel the same,
i feel like I'm drowning
and I'm going insane from the pain,

is there a hope?
or just a dead end,
i can't fight this anger
i need to confined in a friend,

when you need a helping hand
there is no one to turn to,
and there is no one in this land
that will help you get through,

so my one wish for this year
is to find a great mate,
someone i can turn to
and could never hate!
