Time Stands Still

Written for Andre: End May 2007

I love you far more than words could ever say,
But right now,
Reality says we should not love each-other,
For you belong to another.

To hear your voice,
See your smile,
To feel your touch,
Just think about this makes my heart flutter,
and skip a beat.

I feel your emotions,
As if they are my own.
Connected,
Understood and accepted,
In a way that I just can not even begin to explain.
That the very thought of losing you,
Makes my heart grow still.

When you touch me,
Your touch tells me that I am home.
When you hold me,
All of the world and its worries fade away,
And time stands still.

Oh, How I so wish,
That time could indeed stand still!
