The Rain

Everybody thinks I'm weird,
You all think I'm strange.
But no one understands the reason
Why I love the rain.

The rain calms me if all else shall fail.
I'll sit in the rain, thunder, lightning or hail.

When I'm out in the rain, I can just be me.
I don't care what you think, the rain makes me feel free.

When I'm hurt, upset, or sad,
The tapping stops my pain.

I love walking in the rain, because no one can see me cry.
And then no one can laugh at me, when they're passing by.

If it's raining outside, I'll most likely be
Outside, getting wet, being nobody but me.
