The End

by ßøøߥ   Jan 23, 2008

A disillusioned mind tries to think,
He pours a shot and downs a drink.
It seems to him a ample conclusion,
To end his life and his confusion.

He has a choice within his hands,
Can he handle what life demands?
Or does he end it all tonight?
The thoughts of hope are out of sight.

He makes his move, his choice is wrong,
It is so dark, the minutes, so long.
The sound of sirens, the shining lights,
Death draws near, while his body fights.

The sounds and lights fade away,
A whole life of choices ended today.
He had a chance to drop the knife,
Instead he chose to end his life.
