Even while you dream...

by Mr Rhee   Jan 25, 2008

You lay there, in our bed, asleep,
just breathing the way you do.
So softly, so quiet, with such beauty.
Even while you dream, you have
this way of taking my breath away.

I run my hand in your hair,
being careful not to wake you.
Your skin is so warm, so smooth,
like warm a Spring breeze.

The moonlight sneaks into the window,
and touches the skin of your cheek.
Your skin seems to glow from within,
like the wakening of a soul.

The roundness of your hips,
makes my heart beat so strongly.
Every part of you, under the blanket,
making me want you so much more.

Sometimes I wish you wouldn't wake,
so that this doesn't have to end.
If only you could go on dreaming,
and never bring an end to this night.

This was so incredibly beautiful. Whoever you wrote this about, is one lucky woman!
This poem soothes, makes you think of the perks of love, and how beautiful it is.
