Drowning

by Variance Severin Knight   Jan 25, 2008

My wrists are bleeding, my heart is torn

my mind is blurred, my eyes see no more.

the life flowing from my soul,

to once more seek eternity.

the darkness creeps,

the moon is shining, the stars are dying.

my life is fading and yet i want to hear,

her voice if only once more.

emotions cloud my very thoughts,

sadness, anger, jealously, love,

they flow around me like water, choking me,

making me more tired.

slowly drifting into the darkness yet,

i catch just a glimmer of her angelic form.

to save me she will, my heart is hers.
