Mother nature

by Alicia Jane   Jan 26, 2008

My life was like a rainstorm,
thunder and lightenin trying to strike me down,
yet i stood strong like a tree with its roots in the ground.
I fighted back when the rain got to rough,
yet i nearly gave up twice.
This is the hardest part in life,
when every day your on the edge of being alive.
Who ever said to keep ur head up high,
was so right.
I believe not matter what happends how hard it gets,
theres always going to be a day when it stops.
Here iam the sun in my hair and my frown turned around,
this feeling lettin me see the beauty which life is found,
oh i missed the freedom i once had,
just watching a flower as it grows,
from weak to strong,
and even when the wind blows,
it still stands and looks towards the sun.
Through the months,
like situations in our lifes,
Letting old things die,
and new things come alive,
But never does death bring apon a sight,
cause we know its just a cycle,
you live then you die,
and what remainds is up to you to decide.
Life seems so beautiful,
just always seems to be over looked,
but from time to time,
we take a second to smell a rose,
to watch a bird fly in the sky,
those moments when life seems fine,
only people who have been through a rainstorm in there lifes,
respect the beautiful of which life creates,
that is visible by the eyes and the hearts of every living soul alive,
mother nature is apart of us all.
