Me and You

by Oneila   Jan 26, 2008

Empty letters
made out of books
shredded newspaper articles
throw those to my lost memories
I'm naive to say I miss you
but it's true that the holy grail
Is all that's left to succeed
hold on this darling night
you broke my spirit
my eyes are tired
your out of sight
watch me fade to yourself
I need someone
like a deserted king
on his throne
I need you now
take me home
begging on my knees
digging in the ground for your key
holding out a compass map
whats lost is lost
but I'm at hard ground
If I need something close
I'll lock it with a seal
don't hear me wrong
I ain't death
My picture still lays on his bed
wearing my clothes
and my top hat
the scarf knitted wool
ain't so easy to cut
but the most I've had
was just my luck
It doesn't make sense
your cruel intentions run me dry
your still the one that gets my bye
I watch you
I threw it away
for something more
now I'm left wondering
and it's in my eyes
sounding off to a muse
looking off for God's decision
as my right direction
I hate to say
I miss you to
morning to the clear of night
you gotta
its not right nor wrong
the deepest of the knees
that grind my thoughts
all i have is your words to go
quiet as you are
I still listen
