Second Grade Suicide Part 2 and 3

First day of second grade
she makes a new friend
his name is Zach Nelson
theyll be friends until the end

but she wants more than this
she thinks that shes in love
she goes out with a guy named Jake
to try to get Zach jealous of

how much she "loves" him
but it doesnt seem to work
then Zach goes out with Mandy
who, to Emily, is just a jerk

he talks about her all the time
so Emily just walks away
she wishes it were simple
like it was in second grade

but last night she had a dream
of Zach hanging from the ceiling
she decides to tell him the truth
before she does that same thing

she walks up to his house
and rings the doorbell twice
as he opens up the door
the tears start to fill her eyes

She tells him she loves him
and how she always will
he says he feels the same
and as she comes in he calls her Mil

the nickname he used to call her
all the way back in second grade
as he shows her the note
he said he had no other way

she saved him just in time
he was just about to fall
she told him about her dream
and how she sorta knew about it all

he said it didnt matter
she still came anyway
because she cared about him
he could live another day

they eventually got married
eleven years after they met
they kept, to everyone else
their biggest, darkest secret
