Carry Me

by A Victim of Fate   Jan 27, 2008

Shoot me in the back to watch me fall,
Pretend like you don't care at all.
Carry my remains in a ruby box,
And kill anyone who on your door knocks.

Keep me to yourself,
close to your heart,
Maybe a silver locket,
So we'll never be apart.

Or maybe a a heart-shaped pendant,
Safety pinned to your breast,
But who knew you didn't love me,
Who would've guessed?

Maybe you only stuck around,
To shove my face into the ground,
To tell me what to do,
Everytime I said I loved you.

All I ask is that your love be free,
That when I fall you be there to carry me.
