Just a bunch of words thrown together.

by Willow   Jan 28, 2008

Mummy please hold me,
While i weep into the night.
I have so many burdens,
But only one life.

Inside I'm still that little girl,
Wanting to laugh and play,
But she's being drowned out,
By what these crazy people say.

I'm the kind of teenager,
Who pretends not to care.
Who will dismiss life with a simple shrug of the shoulders,
And a flick of the hair.

But when i do this, don't turn away,
Look at me without a word,
Until you see a single tear stray,
Don't think this is absurd.

For what I'm really thinking,
Is so hard to explain.
You might interpret it the wrong way.
And think you're to blame.

But Mummy one day it'll all go away,
And everything will be fine again,
As long as you wait for me,
And be there when I call your name.
