A tear in each eye.

by Emily Arsenault   Jan 28, 2008

She cant tell him,
how she feels inside,
her secret is bottled all up,
her smile is no longer pride,

the pain and hurt she feels inside,
is almost to hard to take,
depression is her only friend,
and still it lies to her face,

his smile reassures her,
that all will be fine,
but his love towards her,
is soemthing she cant find.

If only he knew,
he was the one she longed for,
if only he knew
he was the one she cried for,

He can never know,
for all will be lost,
her secret she cant tell him,
already the line she has crossed

she swears on her soul,
he shall never hear,
the feelings she is hiding,
but the time is coming near,

he asked her if she loved him,
her secret she cant tell,
she lies to him,
her heart near fell,

that night she saw him,
wiht a gun to his head,
he said,
"without your love, i shall be dead"

she heard the bang,
and watched him fall,
if only she had tolled him,
tolled him it all,

She stepped over his body,
and grabbed the gun,
she kissed his lips,
adn her story begun,

she tolled him it all,
how she loved him so,
she took his hand,
the truth he shall know,

she layed by his side,
it was no longer a lie,
and that night she died,
with a tear in each eye.
