Unexpected Love

by BurningCandle   Jan 29, 2008

Before you, my heart felt empty and hollow
My most frequent emotion was sorrow

But upon meeting you, I slightly changed
My life slowly rearranged

You paid attention to my and listened
You are the cause of this poem being written

I can honestly say you're my closest friend
And that I am loyal to the end

Time goes by
Oh, how it does fly

Then I start to realize something more
That I don't just like you as a friend like before

I see your dark brown eyes, my heart pounds
An unexpected love has come around

I must admit that I love you
I love you like I love the ocean so blue

But, do you love me?
Can you see the real me?

Will you take notice of this stitched up soul
Free my spirit from this black hole

I love you; it's true
But...will you love me too?
