School

by Eman D   Jan 29, 2008

The second I set foot in class
I'm bored as hell
Waiting for that final bell
Thinking of ways to make time pass by fast

The sound of pencils driving me crazy
Teacher nagging me to stay up
But my eyes stay shut
Lights off, projector on, I get dead lazy

Text books with worn out spines
Not understanding whats on the page
Yet I find a way to earn that passing grade
Couple weeks later everything I learn slips my mind

In the locker room w/ all these musty dudes
Annoyed by that nasty ass scent
Wondering if they heard of deodorant
Making me cough cause they smell so crude

Sitting in math hoping these answers are right
It is Algebra 2
What am I supposed to do?
I'll never use this stuff in my life

English, lesson plan, I have no clue
Don't give a damn about grammar
Speaking perfectly, does it really matter?
3 years in this course, still learned nothing new

School, school, give me no more
Every new school year I pause at the door
I wait there and ask myself
Why do I keep coming back here for?
