Morose

by HUGIYDAWY   Jan 29, 2008

In the distance a piercing scream is heard
Hovering in mid air before floating away
Billowing trees are hiding the moonlight
On the cold streets, where no one should stay.

Her clothes were torn and shredded
In the darkness is where she loomed
Her eyes are fixed to you, watching you
As blood drips from her gaping wound.

A ghostly feeling runs through your body
Her bloody arm pointed at your end
A shrill noise rings through your ears
As she utters words you can't comprehend.

Like a dream she walks towards you
A glint of silver, you're no more
She stand motionless, unchanged
As your body falls soulless to the floor.

You wake up to find she's gone
Blood covering you head to toe
You try to wash away the horror
But in the mirror she still follows.

Your heart is pounding and you wonder why
She reappears how is she so cleaver?
But you know you cannot stop her
No not now... not ever.
