JUST-LIKE-THAT

by bethan   Jan 29, 2008

I think more about life when I'm on a train,
Sitting by the window, I see how fast things pass me
One minuet you have your eye fixed on something,
Then all of a sudden it's gone.
Just-like-that.
It's funny, all our life we search for 'The One'
Hoping they will be in the room your standing in next,
Or hoping they will come on the same bus as you.
It's always at the back of our minds,
Who it's going to be? When will it be?
What are they going to be like?
Some people search all there life,
Others find it straight away.
Sometimes it's right in front of us
But were too busy searching for it to notice.
Sadly, everything does not last forever,
So take a tight hold of what you have now,
Feel that significant feeling one last time
Before it disappears without a trace.
We live to die, the faces we pass everyday
Are the faces that will be 6ft under in
years, months, days or weeks to come.
I would hate to die with unspoken words upon me,
Take every chance you have in life,
And don't regret a thing.
