Faith

by Rattlehead   Jan 29, 2008

From the earth to the trees
To the whispers of the breeze
I've been your servant roaming free
Till the day I hear you calling me
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust
In your hands I give my trust
Forgive me father for I have sinned now
And too you I shall bow
Lead my soul to the land of milk and honey
To the paradise where it is always sunny
Please God send me on my way
I know you will never let me stray
Your words tells the truth about the past
And prepare me for what will come to pass
Heaven is eternal life, blessed are the dead
I bow and with oil you anoint my head
I'm a child of God a single lamb in a flock
You chase away the wolves when they stalk
I know you'll never let me walk alone
And you'll follow me where ever I may roam
I'll keep my faith to my final day
When I'll spread my wings and fly away
