Where we can dance in the rain

I set alone in this dark room
searching for the light
i feel so cold and helpless
My days? They feel like night

I don't know what else i can do
to make you proud of me
and not want someone better
then what, in me, you see

I couldn't count how many nights
In this room, I've sat and cried
i never knew it possible
to feel so lost and empty inside

You know, Ive lied so many times
Though i never wanted to
you ask if everythings ok
and I've never told the truth

I don't know what to do to make
you happy and proud
to say I'm yours and yours alone
and to want to scream it aloud

So i sit and write this poem
hoping one day you will see
and not want someone better
But just love me for me..
