Sunday Blues

by traceybilsbarrow   Jan 30, 2008

Well today is sunday, its sunday today
Long gone are the days,
when we donned are best clothes
Where it all went nobody knows
Sunday schools, what are they,
Thats what the children would say today
No brownies or cubs, or not many clubs
They wonder why the kids misbehave
No family church visits,
In this present age
Back then you know it was all rage
Although the kids of today they have it good
No rashion books. Or homes getting bombed
No sirens wailing,in the midst of the night
Having to jump out the bed
Getting a fright
Crossing your fingers hoping it will be alright
But this present age the kids have it all
but one things for sure
Sundays arnt the same
no not any more
