Good-Bye Dear Friend

by StillBreathing   Jan 31, 2008

Through mustard gas and Walter fart, closer we have become.
We've shared laughs and tears and much more fun than some.
Hugs, snow, sushi, and even ninja bees has bonded us tightly.
We are closer than others have ever been, our friendship is quite mighty.
Even though we are miles apart our souls will forever be intertwined.
Our love and understanding will never be undermined.
So as you leave me in this city in which we met.
I leave this with you so you will never forget.
That throughout the years, no matter how far away we roam.
You will always be able to find me, and be welcome in my home.
Just call out my name or dial my number on the phone.
Cause I'll always be there for you, even when your alone.
I love you my friend but it is time to say good-bye.
Even though we'll both be crying and wondering why.
As I watch your plane taking off I know I will see you soon.
But OH MY GOD I don't think I'll be able to wait till June!
