Not Titled

In every moment of every day, he wouldn't even show,
that she meant the world to him, more than she could ever know

many a time he would almost tell her he liked her a whole lot,
but then he went on with his life and never wanted to give it much thought

for every step he took, he denied the love he had for her,
and wouldn't even admit when he dreamt, just said it was all a blur

and even though he picked up his phone, he'd give days without a call,
although he knew she'd be happiest knowing he even thought of her at all

long days and nights would go by so quick, her on his mind all day,
he admired how they'd laugh and joke: so perfect in every way

life was greatest when she was around and he knew this all so well,
he'd stay up all night telling her stories until fast asleep she fell

in every conversation he'd avoid her as if she was another book on the shelf,
and pretty soon he even started to believe himself

no matter what he did, he was sure she'd eventually know,
he flirted and had fun but she knew his games were all for show

giving her kisses until she smiled, but she knew it wouldn't go anywhere,
he loved her with all his heart but never told her he truly cared

for they'd go for days and wouldn't talk, and things would seem all bad,
until he finally sees her around and suddenly brings back everything they had

over and over he would send mixed signals, so he wouldn't be tied down,
although the time he was most happy was when she was around

right when she leaves it seemed he didn't need her and could care less what she does,
and she knew this would happen and didn't understand why this was

yearning for her love, he would, but she slowly began to break,
even if they won't love each other, she didn't want this to be fake

over and over she tried for him, but his response would not seem right,
so eventually he was speechless and she stopped her striving fight

under everything, he'd never admit, as she stopped without knowing his rhyme
was only silent because of the first letter in each and every line
