That popularity,
Was gonna be our top priority,
That depression is more intense,
And life doesnt always make scents,

They told tell us about the partys,
If we appear,
Were required to take a beer,
Or that things can seem a mess,
When you have PMS,
And that peaks can lead to sex,
And cheating doesnt only mean on tests.

They told us from the start
About our high school years,
That theres gonna be a lot of tears,

But all they taught us was to fear,
About those upcoming years,
But as we look back
At our likes and dislikes
These are gonna be the best years of our lives.
