FACADE

by neo   Feb 1, 2008

Trembling. not sure of much.
seems that I do not exist. thats what I feel
Please world forget about me
smiling, laughing, waking, sleeping
thats all i have
no need to eat. food has no appeal.
so, is this it?
stuck in some realm. a realm that came to be in my own mind
seems comfortable here. it's just me living a blankness
these words probably make no sense to anyone. but thats fine. just perfect. understood
trying to be a caring human. truly convincing others that I will seek help
thats a FACADE
walking a straight edge life. having long term goals. finding my true love.
in my realm, that is not the way
staring.
in to nothingness. thinking about everything
but everything is really equal to nothing

This is clearly my favourite so far, definatly! I think I've experienced something quite similar once. When you stare into darkness, like having a curtain covering your head or when you stare into blankness, gazing at nothing, you see yourself and when I did that, I was afraid of it. because then you're just sucked into your own universe and theirs no law or values exept your own.

this poem reminded me of that.
