Lack of Innocence.

by Lex   Feb 2, 2008

There never was much innocence,
not even from the start.
At a party acting kind of flirty,
then we stole each other's heart.

And it didn't take me long to realize,
you are the only one for me.
And at first I definitely underestimated,
how much of a perfect couple we would be.

Our first actual time we hung out alone,
was a three-girl slumber party.
And we've both agreed that night felt right,
even when the two of us were acting naughty.

So there never was much inocence,
if there was really even any there.
And now it's been permenantly drowned out,
by the passionate love we share.

From half sleepless nights,
to sweet cuddling days.
We show our love isn't very innocent,
in many different ways.

I love this poem. & it's definatly true.
If there ever were any innocence; it would be from the first time you asked me to be your girlfriend up until the first time I spent the night at your house...definatly not much innocence anymore after that night. ;)
