Not So Sweet Sixteen

Just when I thought things were getting better another person comes into my life to mess things up. I tried to stop myself but I just keep falling into another hole of love.
He told me he loved me, but that was't enough.
He made me feel special but she had to take that away and now I'm sitting here wondering why, because now all I can do is cry, maybe for no reason or maybe because I fell to fast.
"Things happen for a reason" that's what he said, but now I regret even talking to him. What a great birthday.
I had so much fun until she decided to want him back. I wish things could be different. My day to be happy, now I just want to forget it, now I'm thinking this is not so sweet sixteen.
