HIS painful episode

Three days ago, I was at the hospital
Fighting for my life
I heard them say that there was an accident
Involving my future wife

I tried to speak
But I could not even mumble a word
I guess I was too weak
That night I lost my love, my world

They said she was trying to get to me
Drove as fast as she could
She hit a truck and that was the end of we
If I could only go back to three days ago, I would

Today was supposed to be our wedding day
Everything is all set up; our song is playing
But I am alone, hoping there is still some other way
To have you here and continue our story

All I wanted was someone
Who will know everything that makes me
See everything even the obscene
Yet still say she loves me

Not many a year ago
I found what I have been searching for
She was my everything, my love, my world
Everything was perfect, until that painful episode
