WITH A BLEEDING HEART, I SAY...

by Sarah   Feb 5, 2008

What can I do to prove that I love you?
I say the words but you don't believe me
I take actions that you consider a lie
You don't want to be near me
You don't want me to take you in my arms
You can't even bare to look into my eyes
My tears, my words, my actions means nothing to you
As much as I want to be in; you want me out
I begged and pleaded for a chance but you wasn't there to listen
What more can I do?
I can't just give up on you
You're my son
Yes you are
No matter what you say or do, you will always be my son
Your blood is my blood
I share your joy, sadness and pain
Even though you don't want to believe it, it's true
It's a fact that you can't ignore
That I am your father and you are my son
So look into my eyes and hear my appeal for once in your life
I love you son
I'd give my life for you just to believe
Your wishes are my command
And if having me out is what you seek
Then you shall have it
Even though it tears me apart and brings me to tears to say these 4 words but before I say them I want you to know
That if ever the road gets dark and you feel lost and hurt
Seek for my heart; you know where to find it.
All I got to say for now is...
GOODBYE MY BELOVED SON

*I wrote this poem about a dear friend of mine whom I witnessed his suffering and pain
