Un-understandable

I don't know what's going on
it all happened to fast
though it has nothing to do with me
it pains me to not even try

It hurts to see them in pain
It hurts to see them cry
It hurts to see them weep in their arms
It hurts to see them helpless

Though it is not my problem
and they'd rather see me die
But to see them endure through the pain
only for one more day
would make my attempt worth it

    That was very good, and intriguing. I really enjoyed the last stanza:
