To Herself

by bellATragedy   Feb 6, 2008

She cries silently when nobodies around
She keeps everything to herself
She never makes a sound
She's lonely and she's scared
She's cold and bare
She thinks no one cares
Because no one's ever there
She weeps to herself
As the blade glides across her skin
As the blood drips down she stares at the cut
So fine and so thin
She bandages it up
She grabs her pills and a cup
She takes a few and then a few more
Then she falls down to the cold damp floor
Once again she lays there
Lifeless and still
Her body shaking and filled with chills
No breath comes from her mouth
No beating from her heart
This is the story
Of how that girl fell apart
