Love is A Lot of Things

by Leah   Feb 6, 2008

Love is A Lot of Things

The fights, the words, the tears
That pass way
They all dont matter
When its a brand new day

Swearing, screaming, timid thought
Of all the things our relationship sought
Could the pain be more? Less it could
When I kissed you exactly in the place you stood!

The crying that you dont know
Or care to see
Is behind the love you have for me

The girl I was that you barely knew
Is now the girl you
Can clearly see through

The boy whose words
Once melted her brain
Is now the boy whos gone insane

He does not know
Just what he has yet
Those times laughing hes trying hard
Not to forget.

She is the girl
Who has hurt him a lot
Which is the core
Or the reason to why they fought

Now that they have both
Done things wrong
Do their teenage hearts still belong?

Do these changing people
Still bare a chance
To grow together in a single dance?

Can they fix the hurt that
They caused mindlessly?
Can they unsuffer
The suffering they did timelessly?

The names that he called her
Shes trying to forget
But its like they are in stone
Already set

Hes trying to avoid thinking
Of all the other guys
When she sees desperation
Upon his blue eyes

I dont think they meant to
Fall so deep
In love with each other
On a cliff so steap

I dont think they ever
Meant to hurt so bad
Or gain so much
From what they had

Or to spend so much time
Growing together
Never knowing exactly
The true meaning of forever

They never meant to mess things up
Where they stood or sat
They just fell in love
And loves not as easy as that.
