The Colors of Us

Red- represents the love we used to share
also the blood u made me bleed on my leg (I have a scar 2 prove it)

Purple- represents ur favorite shirt of mine
and the color of the bruise on my forehead- from u

Pink- represents my favorite color
and the color of my face after you forcefully put ur hands on it

Blue- the color that looks best on you
and the color of the many bruises on my arms, legs, and sides, so easy to hide- bruises from you

Green- the color of the grass we used to play on
and the color of the grass you always threw me on when we fought

Orange- the color of your ugliest shirt
Also the color my toe nails the day you cut my foot open, scrapping the skin off, and yes, I still have a scar
Also the color of the couch you beat me unconscious on

Yellow- the color of the sun that rose every morning making me wake and see ur face next to mine
And the color of ur jacket I wore the day you held that knife to my throat

Bluish, Greenish, Yellowish, Purple- the color of the mood ring I had that around u never stopped changing
And the color of my eye the weekend after Valentine's Day. because you decided to punch me in it

Black- the color of the pupil of ur eyes, that I love to look so deeply into
And the only color I saw when you kept hitting me in the head

White- the color of the paper we used to write love letters to each other
Also the color of my shirt the day u made my nose bleed

Brown- the color of our eyes that we spent so much time gazing into one another's
Also the color of the bruises on my body from the belt u hit me with on so many different occasions until I couldn't cry or beg anymore

So many colors of the rainbow
So many colors that define who you and I really are!!!
