My memory

To you my heart once belonged,
Now silently i walk down the hall,
inside, crying the tears ive held back,
because again for you Ive started to fall.

Going through the day,
wanting to hear your voice,
for the pain that i have felt,
wishing i wouldnt have made that choice.

Your face haunts my memory,
for days then pass by slow,
knowing how close you are,
yet how i feel you will never know.

The days have had lonely endings,
many moments have gone by without a care,
for this heart of mine is open,
waiting for your love to share.
