Looking out my back door to the golden skies,
Beautiful meadows with life springing...
I see the lingering blue go by,
It immediately catches my eye...
When you feel you are at your lowest,
You find a way to go even lower...
You can't just come walking into my life,
Making me feel like I'm alive...
I know now I could not find another,
I had a chance and didn't seize the chance...
As I lay there reckoning on deaths bed,
I remember the words you once said...
When will you open your eyes to see,
That you are the equal of me...
No one can understand my isolation,
I am all by myself...
Across the street sits my sanity,
The one taken by humanity...
Everyday is getting better and better,
I don't want this to end...
Nothing is ever what it seems,
I don't care about a thing...
My heart leads me astray,
My sanity tends to go away...
