The sun is rising on a new day...

It has been some time since I took up a pen.
Maybe it’s time to write again...

New year’s eve has come and gone,
The day I have been awaiting for so long...

The view from the deck of a ship at night,
Can be such a wondrous sight...

Though I cannot even call you friend,
I have read your words time and again...

There is place of quiet solitude
Where I go to work on my attitude...

Saturday morning with coffee hot and strong.

How do you sleep in the night so dark
With demons and terrors just waiting to start...

I watched a Butterfly today,
She seemed to know the right way...

Watch the stars
As they shine so bright...

Where do I find the words I write?
One might think it quite a plight...
