Saturday Morning

by Randy Lee   Jan 6, 2024

Saturday morning with coffee hot and strong.
Joni Mitchelle singing a soft smooth song.

The weather outside is gray and rainy.
Thoughts in my head of a beautiful lady.

A smile dances across my face.
Life continues at a leisurely pace.

Music continues to set a pleasant mood,
For all of this I am a grateful dude.

The flowers this morning are fragrant and strong.
Much like my coffee, how can I go wrong.

The life I am in fascinates me.
What has gotten me here can hardly be.

At times I have been rather rogue.
Have you started counting leaves in the Cove?

One thing, I believe, I have figured out.
Just Breathe is my mantra, without a doubt.
