That smile on your face
disguised your evil ways
you filled my head with lies
so i wouldnt recognize
what your intentions really were.

Can anybody tell me why i feel the way i do?
constantly worn out
and aching for you.
and when i wake up in the morning,
and nobody is by my side
ill whisper to myself i knew it
the entire time.

I was looking for a way out of the pain
and it felt so right the way you said my name
but you we're nothing as you seemed
i needed somebody to love me
and i was searching in the wrong direction
i must of lost sight of what i was searching for.

I could of sworn we had something, but i guess that was just me. and i guess it just goes to show that no matter what kind of pain life may bring, you can never really preparing for something heart breaking.

Your always drinkin just to get by
your words are lost as you fake a smile
you never know just how lucky you are
until your entire life walks out the door
with it goes everything you live for.

I dont know why i've been carrying all this pain for all these years.
when you help me put up all these walls ive built.
but im burying this chain today
i've decided to let go of my past,
and look foward at what's ahead.

He stole her heart;
right from the start
she fell in love
with their late night talks;
she's fallin for him;
& she's fallin hard;
she's not scared of him,
she's terrified.

Again & again i explain how this is all i know
this is the landscape of my life
& i dont want it anymore
this is the truth inside my heart
chalked up & torn apart
this is the model of my world
ruined & forever scarred

Can you believe she's hurt again?
she promised she wouldn't ever let him in
he told her she's his world,
a famous lie, he tells to all the girls.
she's laying on the bed
phone in her hand
pullin her in again;
talkin bout he's only human.

She took a deep breath;
and blew out the pain.
she said she wants to see sunshine;
she's tired of rain.
the pain she feels, is mostly self inflicted.
so she's doing her best to bury it.
