These scars I wear proudly,

Slowly I let go of the tension
that has become such a part of me,
no more need to stress.

People become stronger because of the past mistakes, hurts and things that haunt them, facing them and overcoming them is what makes us strong.

Isn't it amazing how an entire town can try to bring you down but it's a friend that can make you feel the cheapest

I spend my nights praying for daylight so I can hide pretending everything's ok again and I spend my days praying for night to fall so I don't have to hide the pain

Looking at the moon as the clock strikes 12,
a tear shimmers on my cheek as it falls

say how I love you and I wish you were here,
my nightly ritual
just to feel you're a little closer
