I am 18 years old. I grew up in Crete, Illinios. And moved to Oregon in 2000. I love to write poetry, i have been for along time now. I think my first real poem was written at the age of 7, but i used to revise the 'roses are red, violets are blue' poems, lol. I have been submitting my poetry in many different contests, and won alot. The biggest contest i have entered and won, but was not able to go to DC to accept the award, was from the international poetry society. But I have 2 sisters (19 & 24) And 1 brother (15). My oldest sister has a daughter (15 months) and i live at home. Only for the next 3 months though, im going to college in august. But i will keep writing poetry and i will keep posting them up. I just have to find time to post outside of school.
