I am very fortunate to have found this site and become a member of it. I give thanks to an extremely good poet, Chad Picard, for introducing me to it. Please read his works, they are truly wonderful. I am an Iranian American muslim. Poetry is part of my heritage as persia was the home of three famous poets, the best is Hafez. I enjoy writing poetry but like to read others work more. I am a college student majoring in Teachers Education. Poetry is like a therapy for me that I use often along with my other past times, gardening, soccer,mosaics, speaking and writing persian, and meeting pleasant people who have kept peace and joy in their hearts.
