God it�s only 3 am
The sun isn't even up
But she is

She's hungry again
And if she doesn�t get her bottle soon she's going to scream
But I'm tired and need sleep
Sometimes I just look up at the ceiling and say God what do you want from me?

Now it's time for her
To be burped
There she goes again
She just puked all over my shirt

7 am now its time for school
Leave her with grandma but she doesn�t want mommy to leave
Now she's crying and
She wont let go of my sleeve

Every time she does this she makes me not want to leave
I want to be with her every single second of the day
I always think about all the things I could miss
Like her first step and I always wonder when she grows up what she's going to say

About me, Is she going to say I was a good mom?
Is she going to say I tried my best?
As a mom
Am I going to pass the test?

Finally home again but not for long
Hold her for a little while, give her a kiss
Now I gotta go to work
What fun is

I don�t know how anybody can handle this
This schedule is crazy I'm about to lose my mind
But I do it all for my little girl
Who I know will always be mine

The greatest reward is when I come home
And she falls asleep in my arms
All the pain and the craziness of everyday
Is just gone
And in that moment I'm proud to be a mom
