I love poetry because it has definitely helped me through a lot in life. To be able to write down how I'm feeling inside got me through the day. Having others tell me my poems are good helps me even more because i realize I'm telling a story, and even if you don't know what it's about, it interests others, and THAT puts a smile on my face.
