born in Sat-Mar on the shores of the Szamosh, a tributary of the Danube formerly Hungary, to Survivors of the 2nd WW, where i had a childhood with mixed experiences and emotions, since we- orthodox Jude's mixed & mingled with the locals who had just drowned half of the populace. yet as a child i was mainly occupied by my emotions in the family: being jealous of my almost "twin" brother, whom i loved dearly, over the love of my beautiful and bright mother. Father was a silent merchant with a few carts selling ice and soda refills. he was quite almost mute after his compulsory service ahead of Hitler's army in Russia, where they laid train rails after blasting through mountains, and was saved by his elder brother from disanteria. |
