Why is it that the people we hold the closest say and do the things that hurt most?

When you finally think you have something..
You realize its nothing at all..

I miss waking up,
Already smiling
I miss being happy and laughing
I feel so abandoned
Left all on my own

Happy times would be over too fast

You don't know how much you love someone until they're gone.
Then you regret not telling them you how much you really loved them.

Now I'm going through changes, changes
God, I feel so frustrated lately

no emotions to share
no real friends
to show how they care
struggling through life
to be someone else
no true feelings
