Everytime i turn around,
i find my heart face down,
everytime i get up,
i fall farther.

I'll take my life,
i'll take it tonight,
the light will soon be here,
i've been fighting this for years.
i'm headed off to a better life,
where people know how to love,
cause everywhere on this earth,
i got shoved.
