Their color reflect the radiant sun,
Fading love song heard in an abyss,
Tickling the mind with daydreams.

Passions incinerate my ideal reality,
Glimpse of a delicate daisy swaying,
Reminisces of a gentle smile appear.
Immense amount of love escalating,
About to bubble over and break out.
Pure eyes first locked four years ago,
Taking over me; I gladly surrender.

Just Like You

I never loved a soul.
I never gave permission.
I always pushed life away,
I hid in my anger and shame.

See? I'm just like you.
Alone in the dark,
holding my breath.
When these walls fall in,
you'll know:
You've taught me well.

I'm plagued by every sentence,
And I've been up for days.
I'm over critical and arrogant,
And I play by my own rules.

I hide in my sorrow,
I'm a carbon copy of your tears.
Nothing ever comes out "right"
And words can't fix my mistakes.

My life is a sorrowful joke,
Everyone has moved away.

Reeking of another woman's perfume
Burst into the bedroom with no warning
Just how many beers did you consume?

I said don't come to my place tonight
Just please call me when you're sober
Cos when you're drunk I can't stand the sight
And I just pray for it all to be over

You get drunk and start to do stupid stuff
Start your flirting with countless girls
Did you ever think that I might have enough
And your world will slowly unfurl?

Cos it's true, I can't take it anymore
I've been out and I've found someone new
Someone who doesn't throw me to the floor
And is honest, faithful and true

So after cheating and blaming the booze

You don't belong here, you're simply put up with
Stop kidding yourself, you matter? As if.
You'll never fit in, you'll never have friends
You'll never be loved, you'll never make amends

Never have, never will, you're an outsider
Behind your cowering back, they snicker
To your face, they just stare, and put on a fake smile
But trust me they won't put up with you in a while.

You're the odd one out, everyday, no matter when
You're mean, and cruel. Rude, again and again
You're the one doing all the wrong,
Stop blaming others, you're the one at fault

Ha, Ha, you're going to cry, thats it run off
They'll taunt you more, and you, they'll scoff
Then they'll see the real loser you are
They'll finally make you move afar.

One, two, three, four, five. Deep breaths, calm down.
Hold back those tears, don't dare you frown
If they ever saw you, all they'd do is worry
If they ever knew, they'd all be in a flurry

Loneliness is no sin, just something missing.
Stop being like this, face the truth, stop running

But its just so unbelievable, I'll just be misunderstood

Never taking the chance of completing the task.

I think these to be lies, most never will I believe
And so to this life, I will take my leave.
I hope most of you will be able to see.
How much I love you, how much you mean to me.

Me, I'll always be afraid of freedom

Watching everyone else, flourish.

WHERE WILL YOU GO?

What will you do if he leaves you?
What will you do if you become last weeks news?
Will you be given chances, at least two?
I don't think he will love you, you will always lose.

So say goodbye to happiness, say goodbye to bliss.
Say goodbye to the love of your life.
This wonderful life you have you will so dearly miss.
But he does not love you've lost all your strife.

Wonder how long you'll last, how long you'll stay strong.

The Only One (Acrostic)

Time reaches a standstill, and love continues on,
Here it feels like forever since you've been gone.
Everyday without you here, feels like an eternity,

Over and over it plays without you here with me.
Not knowing why you left, brings me such pain,
Loving you is torture, too much to even explain.
Yet I still love you, and it seems I always will,

Only time will tell if my heart will ever be healed.
Never will I love another girl as much as I love you,
Even though ill be the Only One who's love is true.

Anyone who hasn't submitted their poems yet, please tell me how much time you need so I can decide a good due date.

I think I will need four to five days and that should be good enough!!!

Experienced many lights,
