    Midnight Chains

... Toxic raindrops burn frail skin
    marking catastrophe's paths, again
    through those liquid anticipations
    ghostly voice whispers confessions.

    Was it a dream,
    was it a dream, really?

... I dressed like static mannequin
playing a part of deceived goddess
    ensnaring particular promises,
    trapping purple miracles, dancing...

    Sadness dripped down the curtains
cleansing my spirit with purified magic,
    sacred pain, holy scars...
... yet again, imaginary scenery holds my heart.

    Those flowers had thorns,
spilled my blood with single touch...
    those flowers had thorns.

... Toxic raindrops burn frail skin,
    letting cryptic attention in, again
    while memories replay, stinging,
    ghostly voice whispers confessions.

    Was it a dream, really?

    Silhouettes Of A Melody

Mute sorrowing Harmony's of a symphony behind flower petals of scarlet,
Entwine the stem of a climbing rose within the strings of acoustic guitar,
"Let me play with you" she whispers, drinking her white wine of lullabies,
As moonlight drapes across the tiles creating stellar lights of glitter effect.

Brush away bright fireflies glowing, for they will only burden your performance,
Sing softly to sweet monarchs which resides deep within your sorrowing soul,
Kiss the chords gently as they create silhouettes from such empty emotions,
We all shall watch with care as dusks glare changes hazardously from roseate.

Heart strings begin to suddenly fray whilst dusty piano keys sing out in misery,
"It's been along time since we've touched finger tips" She sings deeply within tune,
Staring into fierce candle flames wax rolls smoothly down burnt parchment,
She thinks carefully to herself, "Sweet darling, why did you ever betray me?"

As music lead to her betrayal, One musician now drowns herself in vodka,
Her anti-drug to sweet melodies, which captured lies within sparked note,
And even though she's so beautiful, she would choke her self with pearls,
For two artists combined in marriage ended miserably in a musical affair.

I don't want to hate you (but I do)

I don't want to hate you,
I don't want to be mad,
I feel like I should love you,
    Because you are my dad.

I hate the way I feel,
When I look at you now,
I want an end to my guilt
But my heart just won't allow

    Me to forget
The pain you've put me through.
I wish I could overlook this,
    And start over anew.

    And there is still something,
    That is holding me back,
    Being able to trust you
    Is something I still lack.

    Maybe if I told you,
    Exactly how I feel,
    It would make this better,
    Make it seem less real.

I feel like you betrayed me,
Like you stabbed me in the heart,
I feel like you ignored me
And just tore my life apart.

    I resent your poor decision
And that you followed it through,
I don't want to hate you
    But daddy; I still do.

    A dream

    Snowflakes falling to the land,
Dream is not coming to the end.
Under snow the trees are bare,
    Just like life without fairy-tales
Have you noticed snow is like a magic?
It makes you forget about everything tragic.
Snow might chill the boiling passions,
Light wind will take away aggression.

And as the way snowflakes fall is so slow
You can hardly see anything through snow
You end up carried away buy your imagination
Far away from familiar bus station.

    Faces, magic creatures all around,
You are charmed by melodic sounds,
Is that a fairy behind the old tree?
Or just a shadow hard to see?

Hush... Catch every moment of this dream....
It's not as stupid as might seem....
These are moments your soul lives
In harmony, and you calm down with peace,

Just keep this magic carefully to the day
The snowflakes have melt and peace is taken away
And you and who is near you in all this mess
Will be carried away by fancy to that winter day
    Once again.

The past, the love, the memory.
    (acrostic)

Time has passed, leaves have fallen,
Hearts are asunder, tears drop slowly.
Elusive love, is it still here, darling?

Pictures in my mind are still so vivid
Are they doing to blanch with time?
Seems our bliss used to have no limit
Two souls are now covered with rime

Time has passed, leaves have fallen,
Hearts are asunder, tears drop slowly.
Elusive love, is it still here, darling?

Lights of our happiness are turning off
Oh I can't hear birds singing our song
Violins don't sound like sounded before
Eternity soon has turned out to be gone

Time has passed, leaves have fallen,
Hearts are asunder, tears drop slowly.
Elusive love, is it still here, darling?

Million miles away from here you are
Even thought you promised me forever,
Million miles has turned out to be too far.
Oh even though I remember your arms
Roses in my heart have started to wither
Is this in the sky a falling star?
Eh, I wish we could have been together
Seems though it is too late now.

    Life of the Bottle
    By: Bryce dressler

    Drink from the bottle
    drink from the gun,
    all of my sentiments
    becoming undone.

    Drink from the bottle
    shot after shot,
    round after round
    all worries forgot.

    Drink from the bottle
    stager two steps,
    fall to the ground
    physically inept.

    Drink from the bottle
    as memories resume
    mistakes now forgotten
    the pain now consumes.

    Drink from the bottle
    finger on the trigger,
    bottom end up
    a life disfigured.

    Drink from the bottle
    a lifeless tomb,
    an inevitable depart
    is only assumed.

    Drink from the bottle
    and drift to sleep,
    the warmth now hides
    as darkness creeps.

    The heart finally slows,
    hand off the throttle,
    a painless escape;
    death by the bottle.

    24k Gold Restraint

    People often wonder about
    The locket around her neck
    Its the reason shes damaged
    Its causing a train wreck

    She hates what its doing
Shes giving up, no longer holding on
    She undoes the clasp
    Of life's biggest con

The locket crashes on the ground
Causing the two half's to part
She stares painlessly in the eyes
That caused this whole mess to start

    She chases away evil demons
She's no longer going to fear
She's no longer stuck in the past
With the mother that she loved dear

    Turning quickly on her heels
    She leaves the locket behind
    That 24k gold restraint
That to her was never kind.

    Lifeline

    Shooting stars embroider dreams
Cloud collage not what it seems
    Ocean waves wash printed sand
    Lifeline breaks on wrinkled hand

    Snake river carves diverging path
Staid rocks transform in windy wrath
    Fallen leaves feed promised Spring
Fresh bouquet a new love brings

    Nestled warmth 'neath sunset's nod
Forging steps where none have trod
    Eyes transformed in mirrored light
    Open wide, force-feed the night

Buds on thorns, all caution shed
Storms of visions cast in red
    Future bursts with brilliant hues
    Wealth of treasure then ensues

    Oasis beckons parchment tongue
    Awakened senses, drowning young
    Fortress built to time withstand
    Lifeline breaks on wrinkled hand

My Bravest Man No Longer Alive

    I cannot seem to comprehend
What your life must have been
After all of those terrible you'd heard
And all of those things you had seen.

I wish I knew what you'd been through,
    Before you passed away.
I guess it's all too late now,
    And a little too cliche.

    But granddad if you're watching,
And you hear these words I write.
I'm full of pride to know that you,
    Were brave enough to fight.

    Words cannot begin to say
How much I miss you now,
But I believe that you're still here
    Someway and somehow.

It's thanks to men just like you,
That today I can be free.
If you had not put your life on the line,
I probably wouldn't even be me.

    Everybody has their own
    Bravest man no longer alive.
    Great granddad I love you
And I'm proud to say you're mine.

    The Only One (Acrostic)

Time reaches a standstill, and love continues on,
Here it feels like forever since you've been gone.
Everyday without you here, feels like an eternity,

Over and over it plays without you here with me.
Not knowing why you left, brings me such pain,
Loving you is torture, too much to even explain.
Yet I still love you, and it seems I always will,

Only time will tell if my heart will ever be healed.
Never will I love another girl as much as I love you,
Even though ill be the Only One who's love is true.

    Just Like You

    I never loved a soul.
    I never gave permission.
    I always pushed life away,
I hid in my anger and shame.

    See? I'm just like you.
    Alone in the dark,
    holding my breath.
    When these walls fall in,
    you'll know:
    You've taught me well.

    I'm plagued by every sentence,
And I've been up for days.
    I'm over critical and arrogant,
And I play by my own rules.

    I hide in my sorrow,
I'm a carbon copy of your tears.
    Nothing ever comes out "right"
And words can't fix my mistakes.

My life is a sorrowful joke,
    Everyone has moved away.
The people I knew are gone,
    And history repeats itself:

    See? I'm just like you.
    Alone in the dark,
    holding my breath.
    When these walls fall in,
    you'll know:
    You've taught me well.

    AMID THE FALLEN SNOW

    How I remember sleepless nights
When we would read by candlelight,
    And on the windowpane outside
    A new world made of snow;

    A million feathers falling down,
A million stars that touch the ground,
So many secrets to be found
    Amid the falling snow.

    Maybe I am falling down.
Tell me should I touch the ground?
    Maybe I won't make a sound
    In the darkness all around.

The silence of a winter's night
    Brings memories I hold inside;
    Remembering a blue moonlight
    Upon the fallen snow.

I close my window to the night.
I leave the sky her tears of white.
And all is lit by candlelight
    Amid the falling snow.

    Memories That Fade Like Photographs
    by AblissfulDREAMER

"Good things come to those who wait"
Lingers the lyrics of a familiar love song
Once satisfying a young heart with hope
Now open wounds of a striking love lost
Ignoring the voice of her heart, she faltered
Regret consumes her mind; chance is gone

His eyes are what attracted her; alluring
Exotic color always captivates and tempts
Smile radiant like a bright summer's day
Lips sultry; longing to feel against hers
    Voice soothing confessing those words
Echo proudly in her ears; reminiscence

Though his warm embrace no longer nearby
Her thoughts still frenzied with his passion
Clenching to what's been left; loyalty and bliss
Frantically holding on to sweet recollections
For they provide faint warmth and fondness
Certain to not let memories fade like photographs

    Tasting Rainy Whispers

    by NyellMoonlight

I want you to tap-dance across my wounds
while the rain slowly pours down the window pane,
spilling lonesome illusions over carved streets.
Trust heals crimson devastation, lizard's tongue unravels-
there's some stellar sound, a fairytale story outside.

Come closer, I want to gaze within your mind.

I'm simply senseless due to extreme senselessness
to the point where senselessness doesn't make
any sense anymore; senseless numbers swallow sense.

Push me towards the ground and hold me near-
    even the frigidity rhymes over outlined digits;
    Fallacies follow my zealot sanctuary
and the sky... oh, the sky is scarlet again.

    I lovethewayyouplay- senselessness speaks silently.

Plunge the fingers in my somberness
cause I love to taste tint of darkness
    sketched across your cyan aura.

Under the moon, rain whispers secrets.

Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic

    by NyellMoonlight

    Ashy glances behind laced veils
    reveal inner thunders that crawl
    wearing cloaks weaved with storms-
    elegant body language whispers secrets.

    Music ignites motions, surreal-
    moving across the moonlit floors
    spinning within hues of outburst,
swirling with such passion and grace.

    Drumbeats repaint soul
with karmic, maroon and red ink
    writing the night away, laughing,
    as flowing attention heals wounds.

    Fingertips glide down the body
    hypnotizing traces of reasoning,
    complimenting ardent silhouette
    which sways amongst the stars.

Every little thing she does is magic,
    dazzled by diamond fantasies,
    with silver glistening within pupils-
    elegant body language whispers secrets.

    The Move

Loose the handle, turn once more
Lost in thought upon the door
    Painted white, walls pristine
    Covered over all that's been

    Baby's jellied thumb was there
    Crayola red sketched teddy bear
    Window gleaming sparkling new
'Lil slugger tossed his baseball through

    Mistletoe on doorway hung
Lover's kiss when both were young
    Family photos framed with care
Smiles in rooms that now lie bare

    Plush new carpet lining halls
Gone the paw prints staining all
    Backyard tree sways, missing swing
Ghosts of children dance and sing

Laughter sounds from days gone by
    Silent tears flood longing eyes
    Gripping handle, turn once more
    Echoes of the slamming door
