How do you get over a guy?

Just recently me and my boyfriend broke up! He ended it with me purely cos he didnt want a gf! We still hang out with mates like every night but we hardly talk! Im like him loads maybe even still love him! What do i do to get over him? Im still quite young and i guess its maybe cos he was like my first real proper bf! PLEASE HELP! got any advice post back please!

I'll have to tell you, though Mel gave some nice advice, if you really love him, staying away from him just won't cut it. Or at least for me and anyone I know it hasn't. It just makes it worse. You miss him, and start to know just how much you love him more and more each day.

Though eventually you'll forget and move on, if it is a true, proper love, then when you see him again that beautiful flame will relight and you'll be awestruck again.

At least, what I say is soley from my experiences, and those of my friends. You'll have to really want to love again, and get over him, before you actually will. Anyways...

Girl, I've been trying to figure this out myself for about a year now.

So, let's just say the more in love you were with the person and the more insensitive the people around you act (for example: "Let's go over to Steve's house! Oops...sorry Jackie...*whisphers* let's go tonight ok?" or "Man, I'm so sorry you guys broke up. You too were so great together. I would give naything to have been in a relationship like that. He loved you so much...Why does he hate you now?") The harder its gonna be.

But it does happen. It might take awhile but, will get better.

No one can tell you 'how to get over a guy' because it is something you have to work out on your own.

I know that probably sounds harsh and is not the answer you were hoping for, but that's what I think.

Hey girl well there is no real answer to gettin over someone you love. But the best thing is to think in your head he must not really care about u that much if he dont want to be with u. So just try to find another guy its not necesarliy good to get a new b/f already cause u could end up hurting the new guy real bad believe me i have done it before. so just get a guy friend maybe even a friend with benefits and see how it goes from there.
