2-part poem! 1/3 OR 2/5

Hey, I wrote a new poem called "Our Story (Pt 1)" and the girl I'm in love with wrote "Our Story (Pt 2)" I would love for you to all read it and let us know what you think.

So if you only do the first part, I'll do 3 of yours. If you do both parts, I'll do 5 of yours. Don't worry, I put the link for the 2nd part at the bottom of the poem.

Plot:
A poem about mine and her relationship / the history we have and all the mistakes I've made.

I normally don't comment my own posts because it raises the post to the top, but in this case it is as the top, so I'll use this opportunity.

I love that you're all replying to this 2-part poem. And your comments mean a lot, really. I loved reading them and trying to improve :) And you're all helping wonderfully.

But one thing I want to add, just so you all understand. The second part, was written by a girl who's first language is NOT english. So some of the phrases seem a little off.. but they're really good for someone who isn't using English as their first language. -- I've seen worse from people who do have English as their first language.

So be a little more lenient on that ;) Because I'm working on it with her.

Again, thank you all soo much for reading! It means a lot to me... really it does. And doing the second part means more to me, because she's getting comments on her poem too. And I love it... I can't thank you all enough.

All of you, keep writing on! And I'll keep reading ;) Because I love your poems -- truly.

- i also don't have english as first language (portuguese :) )... yet i've been learning english for about 8 years and as far as my knowledge can tell, the phrases are not that off... and i agree with you, there are many people here writing worse...

I did both of them. I think that your part of the poem was really well written, but hers had a better concept with taking the words from yours.

I liked both of them in each of their own way. Awesome poems both of them. and they are really worth a read if you have the time to read them both. They aren't long winded either.

Please do the following:

"To a new day"
"Everyday"
"The Withered Lover(Black Zodiac 1/12)"
"Waiting For Heavens Reward" (Please let me know what you think this is....no one gets what the 'frost' is)
"Darks Come to Save Me (Acrostic)"

Let me know what you think of them. The withered lover is probably my favorite piece out of all of those that I gave to you. It's my favorite and most say it's my best, so be gentle with her lol!
