Guys you gotta read this poem by Etheridge Knight . it is the most surprising but perfectly expressed lost love poem in the world. the second stanza is so different but absoloutly perfect in sentiment. it had me laughing my head off

It's life in a different perspective... and it really shows how much he's affected by losing the person he loves.

I think it was amazing. i found it on a site where someone had only quoted the second stanza. and i read it and was just so surprised by the ending that made the rest of the poem clear. usually lost love poems are how the persons heart is black or rain or depression. this was just so completely different yet so to the point
